I hear the Royal Rumble has been tweaked this year. About time, it's been terrible for a few installments. I'll hopefully give it a rent/play at some stage, but I don't see it being too addictive. THQ/Yukes seem so lazy, I mean isn't JBL on the roster for chrissake?

On EWR and TEW; I've not played it in ages. Still only just past Summerslam

Oh man that was excellent. Unfortunately the AI was pretty broken and they interrupted every single pin, and submissions were impossible to break. But getting 6 blokes on top of the Smackdown fist before hurtling off? Awesome.

I'll probably pick up SvR on Friday, maybe even Thursday if Chips break the release date again. The inclusion of the story creator and opportunity to download created wrestlers has got me all excited.

Back to TEW, how come when I go to start a new game and choose my promotion I can't choose WWE? I've checked and the promotion is in the database.

In the list where you're choosing a promotion are there any real ones at all? If not (look for TNA), I think you're going wrong where I did...

There were only about six promotions like AAA, AJPW, DG etc but I started a game now and for some reason I am getting all the promotions.

Storylines are quite the bitch to create in TEW. I haven't even booked a show yet, because of them!

Still not got back into EWR (or into TEW for that matter..). It's gotten to the point where I'm intimidated by going back because the roster's messed up (Umaga married to a secret McMahon d'oh), and I can hardly remember what storylines I had planned.

Ha. I just got rid of my old EWR game. I had it running for long (managed to get two WrestleMania's out of it, unified every belt so there was just WWE, IC, Tag and Womens, etc), but I was ready to start over.

But instead of that, I decided to try and start a TEW game. I don't have my PS3 right now, so I thought I'd get a game going... Can't even get to the first minute of Raw :|

If I ever go back to one (which I'm tempted to do about once a month, but never go through with it) it'd more than likely be to EWR.

It's more user friendly, and TEW just takes too long and is too serious for my liking.

Just got back into EWR after about 13 months away. Crikey I need to change a lot. New storylines needed as I've lost complete track. I'll try and get rid of ECW for NXT by the year end (only in September), as a decent way to get my too-good-for-development guys over.

Is Alex Riley/Kevin Kiley even on the game? Think my version will be a Jan 09 update. His photo is in the database, but can't find him. :erm:

I still haven't managed to get a 100% PPV rating.

I've been re-naming my trainees to current stars and tweaking their stats a little because there's no Punk, Kennedy and the like on the game.

WCW is still alive and it's August 2002. Their most talented guy on the roster is Buff Bagwell. Who for some reason has 94 for brawling. I did steal him from them for about 3 months and got him to 93 over before releasing him due to everyone hating him. I should have jobbed him out first, but he was stinking up the joint and no selling everywhere.

I started a game with August data a few days ago. I had to make some changes first. A few people's stats weren't really up to scratch. Miz might not be the best wrestler, but a 64 for brawling is a bit ridiculous.

Anyway, Flair was released from TNA so I signed him up and has him set up a stable called the Five Star Attraction, which includes the recently reformed Legacy, Miz and Morrison, Barrett and Sheamus, with Drew to join them once he captures the IC title from MVP. I might add Dolph too.

I also signed Austin Aries and Roderick Strong and had them join the SES. They got pretty over pretty quickly so I had to bring in the Motor City Machine Guns so they had someone to have weekly matches with until they get over enough to appear on PPV.

Danielson and Jeff have also signed and Colt Cabana is in development. He'll probably join the SES when he's ready too. I'm probably going to create a face stable of sorts including Danielson, Bourne, the Hardyz and a few more I'm yet to decide on.

Was my first PPV. The plan is to get the likes of Wade, Drew and Swagger slowly over, as well as eventually giving Christian the title before embarking on a feud with Punk. Possibly retaining the title and facing Edge at 'Mania for it. That's a long way off though and I still prefer my 1999 game (Now in 2003) so I might end up losing interest in this pretty fast.

I also raised my riskiness so that Superstars would get dropped as booking 4 shows a week isn't fun. NXT runs out in 10 weeks too, so happy days. Less shows = less main-eventers loosing morale because they're not appearing on every show.

Oh, and I put 'Taker as a non-wrestler because I only want to use him for 4-6 PPVs a year.
