[PS2] and [PSP] Gooders V4.4 Option File Season 2009/10 .max .xps .bin/cue

This is the last ever version of the file, and although I know it is not 100% accurate, I have focused my attention mainly on the EPL and also on the Champions League.

V4.4 Details:

- EPL has a few squad numbers corrected. Diame now at Wigan.
- Champions League teams revisited, some new players added / created. Some squads (eg Standard Liege) are still missing alot of players but squad numbers have been corrected.
- Many, many other European transfers completed and new players added.
ML and BAL are fixed and no longer crash after the first season.


V4.3 Details:

EN/IT/ES/PT version in .max format only. Basically a bug-free fix of V4.2 with a few extra players / squad number fixes for those who wanted to start a BAL or ML without it crashing!

V4.2 Details:

- EPL has all promoted teams / All kits updated where needed / 99.5% of transfers completed and squad numbers corrected. Any remaining errors should be extremely minor and due to the information not being available at the time (some deadline-day signings still have numbers tbc).
- Champions League teams in the game have had squad numbers checked but are missing some players. Transfers vary between teams, some (eg Bayern Munich, VfL Wolfsburg (now replacing Werder Bremen), Real Madrid and Barcelona) are pretty much 100%. Some are at 80-90%, such as the French teams. Some others (eg Standard Liege, Porto and Besiktas) are missing many players. There are no other new teams.
- New 09/10 Kits for Bayern Munich, VfL Wolfsburg, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia. Classic England now has Euro-96 based kits.
- For all other squads varying amounts of transfers have been completed; auto-sorted line-ups and all “Unregistered” players in squads have been removed.
- Added light blue boots.
Please note that if you started a ML or BAL with this version it crashes at the end of Season 1. This is fixed in V4.3.


V4.1 Details:

- Most completed EPL transfers up to 14/08/09.
- Some more European transfers completed.
- Some more EPL kits added.

- Added promoted teams (Birmingham City, Burnley and Wolverhampton Wanderers) to the EPL.
- Many EPL transfers completed.
- Some European transfers done.

Please feel free to leave comments about specific things that need fixing as other people may want to update the file themselves… but I am going to enjoy playing the game now until PES2010 comes along. Thanks to everyone who has helped with constructive criticism, support, banter, transfers, converting the file, giving me advice, allowing me to incorporate some of their work, etc. It has been fun, but with baby number 3 on the way I am calling it a day… but will be helping out other OF makers with kits for the next version of the PS2 game if they want me to.

You need a max drive for any PS2 or a modified PS2 to use a bin/cue disc. Do some searching and you will find out how! I only use a Max Drive and don't know anything about burning a bin/cue disc.

I know how to burn a bin/cue disk...

Just open nero (or your favorite program) use the option "open" and search your folder with the bin/cue files, select the .cue file, burn it in 4x.

Then put the CD in the PS2(modified) and let the disc start up... then use the L2 button, select CD, select the .NPO file and press X and then /\...

Thats it...

hi i´m from argentina, I have a problem, burned the option file in a cd, put it in the play but the laser makes a noise like tac, tac, and don´t read the cd, ill be recorded wrong? hope helps, thanks........

mmm.... maybe wrong burned.... If the PS2 is chipped, it can read the CD...

I don't know whats the real problem... If you give me more details maybe I can help you.... how you burn it? and what you burn in the cd?

thanks for the advice, what I do is open the folder where is the file .cue and I double-click and automatically open nero and burn to 4x but I did it as I did with previous option file, but this time I do not read the CD and the laser makes that sound, I also have the action r max for not spending cd but is the same, not reading the play ... otherwise ??????? thanks friend

Can somebody test out these new US and French / German versions. Just in .max format for now.

now about option file...sorry mates but r u kidding me? how can you release of with line-ups like these? I checked Italian Serie A, and for example in Juve Diego plays as a defender, in attack line we can see..Chimenti and Manninger:ninja: Julio Cesar from Inter plays as a striker too...damn... in Primera Division squads are also screwed and not updated...guys, I hope you will fix these bugs and release better version of your of.


btw. it's a shame that new kits are only in EPL...

I know there are some issues with the file, such as line-ups, missing players etc. That is why there will be a couple of updates to fix these over the next 6 weeks or so. Is there any chance of appreciating the work that goes into the updated kits, and the huge job of sorting out transfers instead of just slating it? Maybe if you relesed your own OF to be picked at you would think again... I have a life and family outside of PES to consider, as do josephgreentree and djdixie29 who are really helping me out, off their own backs, out of nothing more than good will... something which you fail to appreciate... and I kid you not. If the file is that bad go and spend 30-40 hours making your own!

I have no issue with people posting missing players / squad numbers etc. I personally have not checked all the transfers and rely purely on feedback from these forums, and try to make sure any issues are fixed ready for the next release, so please, if you want to point something out then great, I will try and fix it. Just try and appreciate the unpaid volunteers who without which; this file would never have been released.

the option file that I have now is gooders v3.8 and less I don't know why not read the play........
