What buttons do you use to take you Free Kick ???,

I hold :R1: + :R2: down, then i press the direction i want it to curl and :square: at the same time.

Does anybody else do this, it puts a lot of power and swerve on the ball :)

it depends where im at and how i want to take it, and most importantly, whos taking it...

sometimes ill hold down R1 and R2... if a player already has a high skill in FK power and accuracy, ill just use shoot and at the moment the ball is hit move the control left or right to add swerve. if im 22-30ish outside, and theres a solid wall in front of me, ill just L1 and lob that sucker over the wall with the long pass button and hope for the best.

I never use the shoulder buttons but thats mostly cos I don't know what effects they have with free kicks. I usually just use :square: or :circle: and then use the left analogue to add swerve.

For a Becks or Carlos etc fk from around 30m or more, I use the d-pad. I aim up/forward & holding :R1: whilst the power bar is filling to maybe just over 1/2. Then I apply the curl by aiming left or right, the instant I release the :square: button & the power bar is as I want it.
Seems to work alright for me! ;)

You get a great combination of pace & curl this way.

witch anologue do you use to curl it, and do you move the anolouge after u have taken the FK

What I do with Beckham from about 21-26 metres out is just hold the R2 button and whichever way I want the ball to curl*usually left) whilst holding square till the power metre is just past half way. I then let go of square and keep hold of R2 and the direction till the ball goes in the net :D

R1 gives more pace although not as much as holding up.

From the edge of the box, I hold up and tap O, with no swerve. Goes in every time against the CPU.

I used to do that in PES2, christ the ball moved quickly

snap, except the d-pad bit :) forward on the left analogue for me gives way more power

I have a tip which a lot of people dont know i think.
With this Freekick you can shoot under the Wall.

IF ur really close to goal. Aim at the middle of the goal, Press :circle: with Left+Down and give full power
